New Product - GRUNPRO Aegis Results Exceeds Expectations
After 13 gruelling months of intensive research and tests, Gruntek has finally developed and registered GRUNPRO Aegis, a synergised permethrin based emulsion concentrate for mosquito and fly control.
GRUNPRO Aegis has micro-encapsulation technology and a mixed function oxidase incorporated for boosted performance. The product was tested at Universiti Sains Malaysia, one of the leading entomological institutes in South East Asia and other GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) accredited laboratories.
GRUNPRO Aegis tests were conducted based on CIPAC methods and WHO guidelines. GRUNPRO Aegis returned with better than expected results. It adhered to the claimed minimum purity specifications, passed the 2 year stability storage tests and was efficous towards the target pests.
When applied indoors, GRUNPRO Aegis achieved 100.00% knockdown for Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus within 10 minutes. It also achieved 100.00% mortality for Aedes aegypti, Culex quinquefasciatus and Musca domestica within 24 hours.
When applied outdoors, GRUNPRO Aegis achieved 100.00% knockdown for Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus within 15 minutes. It also achieved 100.00% mortality for Aedes aegypti, Culex quinquefasciatus and 98.00% mortality for Musca domestica within 24 hours.
